BUSULMAX
Description
Busulfan is a bifunctional alkylating agent, having a selective immunosuppressive effect on bone marrow. It has been used in the palliative treatment of Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML). Busulfan can reduce the number of white blood cells and platelets in your blood, especially in high dose.
Indications:
- Used in combination with Cyclophosphamide as a conditioning regimen prior to Bone marrow transplantation (BMT) for Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML)
