Description
Cisplatin is the first among platinum compounds to be used for cancer chemotherapy. Even today it is trusted by Oncologists for the value it adds as a part of treatment protocols which are considered as the standard of care in several types of cancer. Nephrotoxicity of cisplatin is easily managed by a vigorous hydration schedule or forced dieresis.
Indications:
- CISMAX (Cisplatin) is indicated for the treatment of malignancies and used alone or in combination with other approved chemotherapeutic agents for the treatment of metastatic testicular cancer, advanced ovarian carcinoma, advanced bladder carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma of Head and Neck
- t may be employed in addition to other modalities, e.g. radiotherapy or surgery.
