MELFALAX INJECTION
Description
Melphalan is an indispensable part of Multiple Myeloma treatment. Being available in oral dosage form, it adds to the convenience of the patient, especially in 'all oral' chemotherapy regimens. Melphalan injection is one of the main drugs used as myeloablative therapy (preparative regimens) beforeBone-Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Stem Cell Transplant.
Indications:
- MELFALAX (melphalan) Tablets are indicated for the palliative treatment of multiple myeloma and for the palliation of non-resectable epithelial carcinoma of the ovary
- MELFALAX(melphalan) for Injection is indicated for the palliative treatment of patients with multiple myeloma for whom oral therapy is not appropriate
